i just got a letter from my opticians
wefeeltoolittle: telling me my eye test is overdue, and that it’s really important for me to keep up with them because as well as checking your vision, eye tests can spot the early signs of diabetes and other health issues erm, BIT LATE YOU GUYS. I love when I find things warning about me of causes of diabetes :’)

tlex asked: Do any other diabetics have problems with Weight?
I have weight issues, and I know it's from diabetes and my sugar. I eat mostly healthy (I enjoy my french fries now and then), but because my A1C isn't in the 7's, it's harder to lose weight.
Does anyone else have this problem?

The 'leaders' were condescending and it brought my self esteem down BUT!! I was only 10. I'm almost 18 and at the start of next year I'm going to 'adult diabetes camp' apparently it's a lot more laid back and you go to pubs and plus.. maybe...

I got really tired, which is a normal thing for me when my blood sugar gets low, but she said that shouldn't happen. She said you feel tired when your blood sugar is high, but I'm NEVER tired when it's high.
